The Power of Speaking God's Promises God wants us to experience His love and goodness in a profound way. He brings us to a place where difficult things become easier, breaking us for a purpose. There are three key steps to receiving and keeping God's promises: 1. Ask and receive 2. Have by speaking it into existence 3. Give it an assignment to keep it Every God's promise is connected to these three levels. For doors to open in our lives, we must understand and apply the keys of the Kingdom. Obedience Unlocks God's Power There's a common factor in asking, having, and keeping - obedience. If we don't obey God's instruction to ask, we won't receive. If we don't speak His promises, we won't have them manifest. And if we don't give what we receive an assignment, it has no reason to stay. God has automated the manifestation of His glory in our lives through His creation. The days and nights speak of God's glory in every language. We need to receive this daily proclamation of God's goodness and align ourselves with it. Nothing is Impossible with God When God says nothing shall be impossible to those who believe, He means exactly that. Whatever we need to happen can happen when we believe in God. Every promise of God is a "yes" and "amen" - it's a command to be obeyed. We can speak commands over our bodies, circumstances, and situations. But here's the key: if we haven't learned obedience ourselves, our words won't have power. When we obey God, material and immaterial things must obey us. Prophesying a New Song God wants us to sing a new song - to speak differently about our lives and situations. Instead of repeating our problems, we should speak the solution by faith. We need to ask God what He wants us to say about each situation. When we're filled with the Holy Spirit, we speak in new tongues and prophesy. This isn't just gibberish but a declaration of God's purposes. We need to be upgraded to a place where we're constantly prophesying the new things God wants to do. God's Promise of Restoration In Isaiah 54, God speaks to those who feel barren, desolate, and forsaken. He promises to be a husband to the widow and to make the barren woman fruitful. God commits to restoring what was lost and multiplying it beyond measure. Key promises include: • Enlarging our territory • Removing shame and reproach • Establishing us in righteousness • Protecting us from oppression • Causing our children to be taught by God God swears that His kindness will never depart from us, and His covenant of peace will not be removed. This is a permanent change in our circumstances and legacy. Living in God's Favor We need both God's favor and man's favor. As we increase in wisdom and stature, we should find favor with both God and people. This requires knowing how to speak and act so that there's no resistance to what we're requesting. We can declare that anyone hindering our promotion or blessing be removed from their position. This is part of the fight of faith - taking what belongs to us by force when necessary. Protection from Evil God promises that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Whatever darkness envelops the world, we are not counted as part of that economy. We can experience supernatural provision and protection even when the world around us is falling apart. To maintain this blessing, we must believe it, speak it, command it to stay, and give it an assignment. Every blessing in our life needs a purpose to continue. Living Out God's Righteousness As servants of the Lord, our righteousness comes from God. We cannot declare God's righteousness while continuing in sin. Instead, we are called to walk in the newness of life, dead to sin and alive to God. By continually meditating on these truths and speaking to them over our lives, they will become automated in our subconscious. We'll begin living them out effortlessly, just as we breathe without thinking about it. This is the life God intends for us - one of constant victory, increase, and manifestation of His promises. As we align ourselves with His Word and purposes, we'll see the supernatural become natural in our daily experiences.
