Turn the candle on at your preferred starting time. It will glow for five hours and then switch itself off. Approximately 19 hours later, it will come back on and repeat the same schedule.

For example, if you turn the candle on at 6:00 p.m., it should remain lit until about 11:00 p.m. It will then turn off and come back on at approximately 6:00 p.m. the following evening.

To change the schedule, turn the candle off and switch it back on at the new starting time. The candle will begin a new daily cycle from that point.
